That must have taken a long time to draw. Gotta appreciate that talent.

Am I the only one who thinks the first panel is a bit creepy?

I had a clock radio in my bedroom that was on CFRB at bedtime and would shut off after an hour. Otherwise it was CHUM. When I grew up ended up working on both stations transmitters and had Ted Rogers over my shoulder.

I still have an old Walkman and Discman. The belts in the Walkman have all worn out, but the Discman still works and I actually use it once in a blue moon.

Also, am gratified to see the girl with the radio. Most people nowadays don’t realize how huge it once was. Although it was before my time, I love listening to those programs from the 30’s – 50’s.

IDK, about the video under the covers. I always found giving the music or radio show my full undivided attention to be kind of magical. I can’t fall asleep with a TV (or video) going… I MUST watch the screen – even if my mind has turned to mush and I no longer know why (or what) I’m watching.

You forgot the book and flashlight!
