    Good morning Vagabonds

Fay is moving right along and should be out of the aria by this evening, however a system from the west will bring more rain. Bring it on I say, we need it. The forecast: Cloudy with some rain, Scattered thunder storms afternoon. Fay is no Irene, thank you Lord.

I was looking at the covid-19 state rankings, VT hasn’t changed a lot and I see that we’re still at #55 on the list. Montana 53, Nevada 32, Florida 4 and Texas at 3. I hope all our Vagabonds stay well.

It’s trash and recycle day and I’ll do that around 10 fallowed by mail, quick stop and home. (^.^)

I saw on a YouTube video about the cat getting a voter registration form in the mail, See the pitfalls of voting by mail, many a slip twixt the bowl and the lip.

I will get going before I get into trouble, on my way out I’ll say may God bless.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

I’ve been a little under the weather this week, nothing serious, mostly just a little funk. All is well here, of course it is hot, currently 73 and heading for the 90’s. As soon as our daughter gets here, we will be heading for Rolla and some shopping. Other than that it will be a quiet day for us. I am looking forward to tomorrow. In addition to church services, it will be our first day back in Sunday School since March. Talking in person is always better than talking on the phone.

Everyone have a blessed day. Stay safe and healthy.

    Buenas Dias, Vagabonds…

    Estoy cantando bajo la lluvia

    Solo cantando bajo la lluvia

I walked in the rain this morning. It was a light rain, without any electrical activity, so I “went for it.” No one else was out walking (and singing) in the rain, so I had the neighborhood sidewalks to myself. — Florchi in So. Fla.

    Good Sunny morning, Vagabonds,

It reached 84 yesterday, and it’s only supposed to get to 81 today. Not bad at all.

We watched another classic last night…..Brigadoon. What great music and dancing. It’s always a hoot to see Van Johnson in a ‘song and dance man’ role. After watching him in many war and serious films, this was fun to see him dance. A natural.

Other than baking my Banana Pudding Pie, this will be an easy day. It should be cooled later on tonight, so come on by.

    xoxo Happy Trails

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

If we’re naming great old movies, yesterday Michael watched the Jim Thorpe story on our streaming service. Burt Lancaster played Thorpe (a full-blooded native American). One wonders why they couldn’t have cast a real native American like Jay Silverheels in the role. But even these days they cast Johnny Depp as Tonto in the latest Lone Ranger movie. That was just as bad of casting as Lancaster.

My manicurist had a family emergency yesterday afternoon, so my appointment was postponed until today. At least I have something to do since our Ladies to Ladies meeting was cancelled due to the virus appearing in our congregation.

Tomorrow we have church services again, but we will all be masked by order of Governor Sisilak. At least we will be allowed to sing, unlike California. (I wonder if they have “monitors” going from church to church checking for defiant singers.) I will stay in the sanctuary as long as I can, but the masks are difficult for me. I may end up in the lobby, watching on the big monitor they have set up out there.

It got up to 108 yesterday and today’s forecast is for 112 (ouch!). The humidity is hovering at 16% and the dew point is 37.

Everyone be safe and have a blessed day.
