Yea that’s right… pass alcoholism down to the young folks.

It’s something to look forward to.

I would hardly even call a beer a day alcoholism, Hillbillyman. If he had said six pack a day or something like that, I’d agree with you.

I think a bottle of beer a month is perfectly fine. A bottle a day is probably okay, too, though one-a-month is more my style…

Milk is very good for you, if you’re a six month old calf

We use milk here not Vitamin D though. More weaker. Too much fat in Vitamin D.

Sounds doubtful, Chikuku. For most teens, breathing causes acne. :)

And considering how many kids drink milk and how few become autistic, you really have to conclude that something else is going on — perhaps a genetic sensitivity to something that’s otherwise harmless to most people. Autism is still poorly understood.

Secret-knowledge conspiracy theories tend to have a very low explanatory or predictive power…they’re fun for those who get off on such things, but otherwise a waste of time and attention.

Considering people have been drinking milk for thousands of years, and Autism first showed up in significant numbers about 25 years ago, I’d have a hard time making any connection. However, it is true that pasturized, homogonized milk is bad for you. Stick to pure, fresh, RAW whole milk!

Grandma and Grandpa’s argument also works for a cigarette a day – I’m glad he didn’t go that route!!

I used to have vegetarian friends. They died of protein deficiencies.

What have you got against mushrooms? Milk is what it is, nutrition for calves. We just happen to use it too. Many other nations give milk to children up to a certain age and then stop. If milk is so good, why are there so many lactose intolerant people, especially later in life? Seems many can drink milk up to a certain age and then the intolerance sets in. Pasteurization was created to prevent the diseases that get passed on in RAW milk. PETA wants all animals to frolick in the wild and humans should not own or eat them. But then again, they run some animal shelters and put down thousands of cats and dogs each year. What is their real agenda?

I eat healthy and stay fit, but still have my gin! And I am doing fine in my 70s. I adapted all the food (and drink) that I really want to the healthiest way possible and regular workouts and my desired calorie intake- it WORKS!

Today- I love that Ruthie is told (by Joe?) to use Rocco to control Nnija Kitty instead of the happy doll.
