S’How’ ….. Did you call for the impeachment of Reagan when he invaded the UK’s territory of Grenada?

^Not to mention mining Managua Harbor, which got the World Court to decide Reagan was a war criminal.

The Repubs have a whole crew doing nothing but looking for an excuse - any excuse at all - to launch impeachment procedings against Obama. His “high crime and misdemeanor”? He’s a black Democrat.

Dannyzig, I’ll agree that the (now) NATO-commanded no-fly initiative could become a morass if Kadaffy digs in and refuses to cede power, but only if scope creep expands the mission into ground support for the rebels. I personnally don’t see that happenning. (He said hopefully with fingers crossed.)

The big question in my opinion is: Where is the money going to come from to finance this action? I would hope it would be transferred from other DoD budget areas, but I fear that Gates and the Pentagon will ask for supplemmental funding. That MUST be voted down. I’m a patriot, and I fully support our troops, but if we don’t have enough money to fund education for our own children or to provide assistance to the poor and elderly in our own country, we certainly can afford million-dollar bombs for Libya.

Afghanistan, Iraq, deregulating Oil- Banking- Wall Street, efforts to destroy EPA, Interior- we can look back, and look at Boehner’s plans if we REALLY want some FUBARs!

How quickly some folks forget how miserable life was when the elephants had control. Two wars, destruction of the environment, no regulations for businesses or wall street, runaway spending, attacks on support for the sick, old, poor, children, and any other group that the elephants decided were not sufficiently productive of “campaign contributions”.

I’m never disappointed by the Republicans. I know what vile know-nothing mean spirited small minded jerks (MOST) of them are.

I must say, though, that Obama has disappointed me in a lot of things. Because he IS a decent human being, I hope for more. Indecent human beings can’t disappoint me. (SEE ABOVE)

I also think that for the most part that POTUS is THE most impossible job to do right. I sometimes wonder if wanting to be the POTUS is anything but crazy. Or at least crazy making.

Just a week ago Danziger was criticizing Khaddafy for his butality. Today’s he’s bitching that Obama did something to stop the brutality. Some people just look for excuses to hate Obama.

real elephants are suing Republicans for defamation of character. Oprah sold Obama, and we bought him. Prime example of intelligence that defeats wisdom. Speaking of boys to men, I haven’t seen any men since the Silent Generation of WWII. Boys will be boys in America, no matter how old they are. (not counting those who suffered in subsequent wars the “Childhood’s End” A.C. Clarke has described). Where are the Overlords when we need them? Where is Robin Hood when we need him?
