You would think the big “Boy, I really need to go on a diet!” tip-off moment would have come a whole lot earlier due to the fact that he can’t see directly down to the scale below him due to the size of his stomach … and not waiting for the “error” message he gets just seconds before that poor scale dies for good!

With a rhino’s eyesight it doesn’t matter if he has line of sight anyway. He uses one of those talking scales.
