Uncle Tom’s Cabin is not a book about how to be a negro. Surely you can have a better Spanish translation for the concept of the horrors of slavery and the exploitation of that Story. To call a nasty person a “Simon Legree” was taken from the slave owner who beat a slave to death.That being said, I agree with the other commentators, this is an unnecessary cheap shot at Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic Presidential Candidate, who is our best hope for helping to bring our country out of the Dark Ages into which we’ve slipped.
