We are quickly driving toward that moment. Another generation or two should do it. Of course, we’re going to take a large percentage of the other species down with us. But earth will recover.
And with the pandemic and people not out nearly as much as usual that is exactly what is happening. Pollution down, the earth is reviving. Too bad it won’t last.

Yep! Flu is one of the governors of population growth. Climate too. War is quick as well. But then the old standbys, volcanism and comets.
