The excursion into space in P2 at last clears up the mystery of what happened to the Thorp kids: they’re being held as collateral for Gil’s gambling debts by Jabba the Hutt.

I think that this just shows once again that Mimi is the dominant one. She is operating their space vehicle. She is in bed, waiting for his Viagra to kick in. I think that Mimi is behind the missing kids. Maybe Gil showed too much affection towards the kids instead of her. Just a thought…
