How many here remember when a “population explosion” was a major topic of concern. Since then, the world population has indeed exploded, more than doubling in the last 50 years.
Meanwhile, the consumption of resources and production of pollution — per capita — has also increased, yet there are authorities trying to convince us that we need more people, not fewer.
That’s the biggest “pyramid scheme” ever, and if we don’t stop it — deliberately and carefully, — it has to eventually collapse, catastrophically. This pandemic could well be the beginning of such a collapse, IF we try to return to the pre-pandemic pyramid building.
Only the Pill is not harmless for women and it pollutes water. There are other solutions (fem cup, ferrility awarness method) but that would require respect between partners. I can see where it can be problematic.
