Wow. What’s your IRL name…Ebenezer Scrooge??? There are too many people who end up living sad and lonely lives, inside and outside of nursing homes. We all need a lil human interaction and with nobody but staff allowed inside nursing homes, a card from a complete stranger may make some people very happy, because they “haven’t been forgotten”. May you never be forgotten!
Ohh. Great-grandma and Grandpa live in that nursing home, so their Great-granddaughter likely knows about everybody there, because she’s that kind of child, who knows no strangers.
My best friend and I volunteered for several nursing homes and the patients there always appreciated us and us them for all the wonderful memories they gave us of their lives, families and more. Brings tears to my eyes thinking of them all.

The local school send hand made cards to the residents of the local nursing home. VERY nice.
