It’s got to be frustrating if you’re living overseas but can’t go out due to the pandemic. Is it better or worse than being trapped inside in your own country?
I’m in Bermuda. Thankfully, I’m also an introvert. The first two weeks of quarantine were fine, since there was food in the house. If we had to shop, there were police roadblocks. As long as we had our ID’s (license preferred) and stated our reason for being on the road, we were fine.
We are now in Phase One, so things have lightened up a bit. Grocery stores have a system to determine which days people can shop to prevent long, crowded lines.
Phase Two will allow some buses to run again, but only if we absolutely need to go somewhere. No rides for the fun of it.
