It’s my understanding that Liberty Meadows has gone onto that great reward and is not being written anymore. It was discontinued several years ago. There will not be any new Liberty Meadows strips. So sad.
Liberty Meadows is a repackaging of Frank Cho’s characters from his previous strip University2 (University Squared). He did that strip when he was in college for the university’s paper.
In that strip, the animals were enrolled in college. Brandy and Jen were roomates. Frank was a duck. Leslie was a lima bean. Ralph and Dean were a bear and pig, respectfully. Tony was an Animal House drunk.
Many of the strips’ dialog are identical.

I discovered goComics in the middle of this strip. It’ll be good to see the “prequel.” Interesting how the art has evolved.

Anthony 2816 As far as I know, there is only one University2 book – Angry Years 1996. It is 82 pages, cover-to-cover.
In that book, Frank and Brandy are romantically involved.
