That’s the same way my cousin tried to get out of the Army. Nope, didn’t work for him either.

Michael, you pushed it a little too far. Easy thing to do. Now you are found out and it’s off to school with you.

My mom never bought that either. If I didn’t have a fever or something wasn’t broken, I had to go to school. And if it was broken, after it was set, I had to go to school.

Walked uphill, both directions, in 20 feet of snow. I know kids, I know. I feel your pain Michael. Oh, guess that means I don’t have to go to school today! (Forget that it’s Saturday–no school is no school).

As much as I wanted to stay home from school… I hated to make up all the extra work you missed..that was worse!

I wore a dress and tried to kiss the SGT. That didn’t work either! LOL! I’m a retired Army Lifer who has never kissed a man that way. But I vigorously support the repeal of DADT! Get off your high horses, Congress, “We, the People” want it to be!

Burgundy, I was in the Ft. Jackson hospital after advanced training for appendicitis; the guy in the next bed had been there for a long time after having his leg run over by a truck in Vietnam. Anyway, one day for the afternoon vitals, he put his thermometer in the ice water pitcher and then loosely in his mouth at the proper time. The nurse looked at it, looked at him, and wrote down the 72 reading.

It’s a good thing he grew up to be a writer because as big a ham as he is, he never would have made it as an actor!
