Things do not get less weird. What really happens is that, later on, things get so much weirder that we look back on the past and think how much simpler things were then.

Potential good news and probable bad news: There’s an election coming. Or is it probable good news and potential bad news? Whatever.

It’s like this, kid: some will find your worldview refreshing; others will call you names in the newspaper comments section…

Frazz15 hrs · http://www.gocomics.com/frazz/2020/05/04Lord knows where this point lies, but there’s a point in life when someone tells you you’ve got your whole life ahead of you and you know enough about life that the sentiment is at least as intimidating as it is comforting.By the same token: Lord knows where this point lies as well, but there’s got to be a balance where you’ve screwed up just enough that the future is a good bet to be an improvement on the past, without having screwed up enough to set up an insurmountable pattern. It’s probably multiple points requiring some kind of calculus graph, but I’m only guessing. I screwed up way too much to get into any of that level of math.*Hey, I owe you all some serious thanks for your kind and thoughtful reactions to yesterday’s Frogg. I hesitated a bit before writing that, as there’s definitely such a thing as oversharing. I needn’t have worried. You’re all fantastic, and I’m touched and grateful. Although, that said, the comment gallery over on GoComics will have to go about their business without knowing what I told all of you.
