The way the weather is going your going to get sick of me saying it’s a Max Advantage day. The southern most counties of VT are supposed to catch the northern edge of a storm system that’s passing by tonight, but, we stay clear for now.
I was reading this morning that Canadian researchers believe that cannabis high in CBD could be a help in the fight against the Covid-19. We can only hope.

High 60’s are forecast. And the rain for the last few days have watered everything so well. I can’t wait to get out for my walk this afternoon. (it’s all the way up to 42 right now)
Watched another real oldie last night from 1942. This was a little better, “George Washington Slept Here” with Jack Benny. I really enjoyed Charles Coburn’s role as the ‘benevolent’ rich uncle.
Nothing much for today since I don’t have any strength left after we did all the floors yesterday.
I got everything accomplished that I wanted yesterday, including a hug from my friend Earla the manicurist. Today is a lazy day, nothing on the agenda.
The forecast here is for 91 today. It did get that high yesterday, but it never got above 83 inside so I didn’t turn on the AC, just a small fan next to my chair. Next Friday is supposed to get up to 118!
I heard from my California friend Irene this morning. She hasn’t written for a couple of months. It turns out she’s been sick but is now getting better. She doesn’t know if it was Covid or not, but will have a blood test next month to see what it might have been.
Michael tells me that Sting has perfected the art of collapsing the kitty tent on himself. Smart cat, but kinda self-defeating.
This morning was a Walmart grocery pickup day, so that threw off my usual morning routine. But the pickup works..I got the “order ready” notice via email about 9:45 a.m. and got to the pick-up location a couple minutes after 10:00 and back home by 10:15. The store is about 3 mi. from my home, so it’s an easy run and the Walmart employee puts the grocery bags right into my car’s trunk. It’s a no-contact way to get groceries, and easy peasy…while riding out the pandemic in a “hot-spot.” Florchi in So. Fla., USA.
For a do nothing day I really feel like I did nothing. Our high today was 72 and came with another rainy afternoon. We have had flash flood warnings almost every day for the last werk. On the up side everything is very green and fresh.
