My wife is very hard of hearing, and reads lips. She’s been having more than the usual trouble understanding people lately.
Do hard-of-hearing folks have an ADA case against mandatory masks?
I said to my son the other day that it must be difficult for the hard of hearing with all these masks.
Someone has developed a mask with a clear piece over the mouth for precisely this reason. Will it find a niche?
Since most people text nowadays, lip reading is becoming a fading art.
I, for my part, greet everyone. There may always be an acquaintance behind every walking mask that passes me.
Time for some sign language.

I doubt all those people are sick; shame how they don’t care about health workers having masks.
