A Good Doctor in our town in Missouri charged a farmer a lot to operate on his wife. The farmer objected and the Good Doctor said, “If you wanted a cheap doctor you could have found one.” Then he offered to take produce to pay the bill. The farmer selected a choice hog and butchered it, packaged the meat and took it to the Good Doctor with a bill that equaled the cost of his wife’s operation. The Good Doctor objected to the high price per pound of the pork. The Good Farmer replied, “I suppose if you wanted some cheap meat you could have found some.”

    But $2 a doctor’s visit? Yeah, I know…way back when!!!

I wonder what a “cheap” doctor would charge?

Jeff had the right idea, Mutt; just take it off your next bill from the doctor.
