The world is on lockdown and parents are losing their minds.
I understand why we must do this and I support social distancing to flatten the curve, but it’s crazy to think any real learning will go on during this time. Why didn’t schools just close for summer break in April? Who are we kidding?
When this virus is knocked out kids can go back. They get sick too. Problem is they bring back home…..grandpa comes over…..he’s dead in a few weeks! There are no plans for this…..no backup…..no playbook. Our own president estimates just under a 100,000 dead!! A few million worldwide. He thinks that’s a good number. Not me….any death is one too many, especially the way this kills and you die alone as an infected heap of flesh. China opened up a bit and cases spiked!! Send kids into over crowded rooms……watch it spike! Kids have got to grow up…..it sucks but I have seen how Covid make one sick…..I thought I was going to drown. I’m one of those believed to be early victims back late February. I made it. Wife made it but sicker than me. You don’t want this. Hang in there.
