Right now menial workers in India, who paid for their housing by working day to day, have been unable to pay for housing or food, and are not allowed on the streets. Their only choice has been to return to the villages they left to come to the city for work. With no public transportation running, that means walking, up to 500 mile for some of them. AND, there is a chance they are carrying the virus back to their homes. So, while we are miserable binge watching bad TV and drinking home made coffee, there is something else we could— pray for those whose biggest problem is not that Starbucks is closed and they’re bored.
