A comforting myth. The famously liberal media. Few media organs have as much influence as Fox (Rolling Stone?? Seriously?), but no one would call Fox liberal. No one in his right mind would call the New York Times “liberal” in fact, except by some sort of lizard-brain reflex.
Eric Alterman wrote a book called “WHAT Liberal Media?”, published in 2003, but it’s still a valuable corrective to the “conservative” victimhood myth.
