Conspiracy Question of the Day: Someone tell me why teacher would want to spend most of their lives at school?

So where did the money come from? How did they fix the budget? Hope we get the full story this week.

Now I’m scared of the ‘Sea Monkey Proposal’ Nate has in mind.

Obvious possible resolutions:

1) Mr Rosa keeps his job. Nate goes up a grade, and no longer has art with Mr Rosa.

2) Mr Rosa found another job in anticipation of losing his job at Nate’s school. A new art teacher gets hired (because Nate saved the position, not Mr. Rosa specifically).

3) Another school in the system loses one of two art teacher positions, and the junior of that pair has seniority over Mr Rosa, and takes his position.

4) A COVID-19 story starts … and they do art over the internet.

I don’t mean to rant but Lincoln Peirce needs to change this comic strip. We’ve gotten used to the same style for almost 30 years and it was a good comic in the 90’s but now it seems to just be nate running around making one-liner jokes and chad talking about food. This comic isn’t funny anymore.
