    That is not all on COVID-19, it is on an oil war and a narcissist in chief that refused to use the tools at his disposal (the Fed) to moderate an economy so a correction wouldn’t turn into a recession. The origin of the virus is not on him, but he gets the credit for the response, both medically and financially.

    There are 15 cases and they’ll go down to zero.

    I don’t need the numbers going up.

    It’ll all go away in April when the warm weather arrives.

    I think it’s a problem that’s going away. They have studied it, they know very much about it. In fact, I think we’re very close to a vaccine.

    “The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA. We are in contact with everyone and all relevant countries. CDC & World Health have been working hard and very smart. Stock Market starting to look very good to me!”

    “I don’t think it’s inevitable. It probably will. It possibly will. It could be at a very small level, or it could be at a larger level. Whatever happens, we’re totally prepared.”

    “But that’s a little bit like the flu. It’s a little like the regular flu that we have flu shots for. And we’ll essentially have a flu shot for this in a fairly quick manner.”

    ====

    “I take NO responsibility for ANY of it.”

    Lester believes everything His Messiah says — like all Trump Disciples.

    This isn’t the first time I’ve self-medicated on beer and scotch; some of us did it the last time our 401K took a dump for several months cause of his damn trade/tariff war.

    It’s no longer called the Democrat Hoax. It’s now called the Trump Recession.

    Paul Krugman, Bill Maher, and most on the left are more than ecstatic that ordinary Americans [like myself and my husband] are losing the value of their 401K savings. Their TDS is more lethal than Kung Flu, IMHO. Shame on all of them!

    Wuhan virus has a lower mortality rate than influenza and swine flu. 69 deaths in the USA so far, thank goodness for early preparation by President Trump starting in late January when the dems are busy impeaching him. Remember the 12,000 deaths from the Mexican swine flu during President Obama’s early presidency? No one blamed him then and the media did not constantly write about the pandemic to instill fear and chaos like the way they are doing it now. President Obama waited 6 months and 10,000 US deaths before declaring it a public health emergency and no one in the alphabet networks said a negative word. That’s his privilege for being a Democrat. Well protected by the media.

    I’m not someone who admits I was wrong often. I called this the flu. It’s not -ten times worse. We should follow the medical pros. Personally, I have to worry about a wife who has RSD -auto immune disorder. We’re all susceptible and in the same boat. Left/right against a global invisible enemy. Not sure if this might be a reason to put our very real differences aside for a minute.

    FYI: I turned 65 March 3 (don’t get excited no plans to retire) and retirement / investments are taking a beating but only if you sell. Don’t do that. We’ll be ok if we can weather this within (pick a time frame). God bless America.

    Sure is weird how the stock market obliterating our retirement plans always comes whenever the “party of fiscal responsibility” is in charge.
