Despite the channel 3 website saying overcast we have bright sunlight at this moment. The days high is forecast as being 55. goody.
Another week without a beginning and this one being Palm Sunday. Come next Sunday I intend to go up on the hill to watch the sunrise with or without a message. Yes, I am stubborn.
Today is going to be a do nothing day, maybe a quick run to the quick stop.
May God bless your Palm Sunday, be happy be healthy.
Good idea, Mark. Let’s all meet on the hill next Sunday. Not sure I can get up that early, but when I take my walks, I always try to get up high enough to see the view. Very inspirational, I must say. But just meandering through the trees does it quite well.
We had a male and female Red Fox meander through the back area yesterday. Maybe they’re setting up their den in our area. The sounds of their youngens sure is sweet.
Meeting on the hill sounds like a good idea. We each get our own hill. Mine’s Mt. Charleston.
It’s the day of our Lord’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem on the exact day that Daniel foretold 420 years prior. A couple of years ago, our pastor suggested that the priests and elders knew the day and were waiting to see Messiah enter. When they saw Jesus they said “Meh, it can’t be Him” and went back into the city.
Another do-nothing day here too. I’ll watch our church service online in about a half hour from now and then go looking for something to do. Almost done with the photos, well started on the cross-stitch, binge watching “Ask This Old House” (I ran out of “This Old House” episodes.), reading, playing games, both online and “real” with Michael, taking the cats for a walk. See, I have plenty to do.
It’s another beautiful, if windy day here. Today’s forecast is for 73.
Our service was available on line just before 8 am. I am really missing my Sunday School and our regular music leader.
I will be on that hill with all y’all next Sunday! I’ll be the one singing joyfully and off-key ( I do tend to be classified as a joyful noise ). I told my daughters that once this quarantine is over we will have a very busy time celebrating our two April birthdays and our delayed Easter diner, followed by Mother’s day, another birthday and Memorial Day.
We have another day of light gray skies and just enough breeze to be chilly. The current temperature is 48 and hopefully we will get as high as 54.
Everyone have a very blessed day. Stay safe and healthy.
