Love basketball and loved the Knick’s of course coming from NY. However, didn’t mind Boston mostly because I liked Larry Bird and I got to met him and many of the Boston players too once time when they were there along with the Knicks….I knew a lot of the Knicks as I went to work with my dad many days in the Summer and he’d drop off cars for players who bought Rolls Royce’s or if they needed work he’d bring them back to them. I got to go too….and I was very short so many of them had a blast lifting me up to put the basketball in the basket. As I got older and could jump up high due to gymnastics I’d get looks of amazement that the 4’9 girl could jump that high LOL However, if Larry was there he’d say she’s a Knick fan, a Jet fan and a Met fan….on that day I added don’t forget the Dallas Cowboys fan and Larry said OMG you’re a Roger Staubach fan….I said YUP. Then he said well I know you’re a Jet fan and I said yup and Joe was at my house picking up his car again. Word got out he was at our house and every kid for 3 blocks was there.
Surely someone has come up with a new way to part wage earners from their money. “Pssst… Wanna make a bet on how long this virus thing lasts in the good old US of A?”

Either this strip has an extremely long lag time or Mike’s trying to keep our minds off of current events. Not sure this is the way to do it though.
