I was usually chosen last by the team captain for sports, but near the first for academics (but not for spelling). Sometime we would number off depending how many teams we needed. It was rare for us to every divide by gender.
We have 3 girls and 6 boys. [Us girls didn’t get picked on like that too much]:I being the oldest girl, and right in the middle. Four siblings above me and four below me, and they are all at least (~)4 years older or younger, that includes most/all our cousins as well(except one). Four older brothers, 2 younger sisters, 2 younger brothers(youngest).[We have the same number of kids, right now we are spread out from 5 years old to ~27y/o]
I’ve been enjoying these stories; I started reading towards the end of October! (first time commenting, on any Comic here, I’ve just looked at the other comments.) I can relate to the big-family concept! (And how our parents have done things or handled situations compared to yours…!)
