From the people who promised you better, cheaper, more people covered healthcare, right after Repeal and Replace (which failed 70 times, many while they controlled the WH and Congress), come cheap shots.
Iowa is an antiquated system that disenfranchises many citizens, in a state that looks like the republican party.
Actually they did get it right. They had several backups so when the app failed they were able to go to hardcopy paper votes to determine results. Yes, it took a couple of days but it was and is accurate.
It’s my sad observation that, especially in an election year, so many people are prodded to be hair trigger ready to find everything wrong, and then blame “them”…the other party, the other candidate, their neighbor that disagrees, etc. Reason is replaced with rage. Tolerance is replaced with division. All of the wrong-making, much of it fictional (like the thousands of the president’s lies), is so intentionally destructive, and it reflects an underlying anger that dwells in people and is cultivated by politicians for their personal gain. Of course political campaigns are ALL about wrong-making, unrest and blaming the other side. Once an election is over, that’s when the winner is supposed to “heal the nation” from all the divisiveness they have just spent many months and billions of dollars creating. Such hypocrisy….except this president has no intention of healing the nation, instead he incites divisiveness, wrong-making, anger and chaos. He truly is a psychopath and danger to us, our democracy and our culture of reason & civility. May we be the ones who bring reason, responsibility and tolerance to bear. May we be thought-full…not just reactive.

Trump was acquitted wrong or right. Nancy’s impeachment was doomed to fail. Why bother. Everyone comes out a winner.
