We had a pit bull Weimaraner mix who literally forced her way into the family. She would refused to leave. She may have become a bait dog to hone full bred pit bulls fighting instincts. She was skin and bones so my sister and brother-in-law named her “Kate” after the model Kate Moss. After my brother-in-law’s sudden passing my sister had a property manager who wasn’t doing his job and he thought he could intimidate her. Thinking he was buddy buddy with Kate he was about to get physical. Kate almost went for his throat protecting my sister. The guy didn’t realize Kate did him a favor. My sister is no one to mess with. “Katie Bug” as we called has gone on to the dog park in the sky. Good doggie Katie Bug.
So it is a minor nit but I noticed it two days ago. The nail head is on the wrong side for the dog to step on it. Someone would have had to drive the nail into the dog’s paw for it to be oriented this way. I can’t see how a dog could have gotten a nail in its paw from the top down.

Nobody had money for a vet when I was growing up…if they got sick, they got better on their own or…. Today I spend thousands to keep my pets healthy.
