If those bears were living in the woods up till now, then whose house did she break into and vandalize?

I feel like there is a missing caption labeling it as: “Goldilock’s B&B”

Then the joke would be “turn-about” where the bears complain about her.

After this experience, the bears no longer offered their place as a BnB.

You’ve misinterpreted the story. Goldilocks was the complaining one. The bears preferred their porridge hot, cold, etc. Goldi was trespassing. I think the whole story is meant to be a commentary on humans walking into other animals’ habitat like they own the place and changing it to suit their needs without considering who already lives there.

Color me confused – the bears didn’t complain about the conditions, it was Goldilocks who found the beds too hard and soft, oatmeal too hot or cold.

And my ancestors lived in tents – but I wouldn’t want someone messing with my donuts and coffee!

It was Goldilocks who kvetched about everything being wrong. The bears just complained about her messing up the house, the entitled little burglar.
