I thought having a criminal for a president was bad enough and now we’re witnessing the Senate in cahoots with him?! Unfortunately, I think the US has reached a new all-time low!
Like I have often posted; the pols are now so bold and brazen that they do this stuff right in front of us with no fear of repercussions. Such is their utter contempt for us.
The republican Senators are dedicated to proving their overweening loyalty to Trump and, by extension, Putin.
Trump makes no ‘bones’ about being under the control of the Russian Federation.
As far as Trump’s concerned, the ENTIRE PURPOSE of him being president is so he can continue to ‘feather’ his nest.
Remember that massive hotel scheme he was working on with the Russians during the 2016 presidential campaign? To Trump’s mind, that’s still a “go”, and he STILL needs Putin’s permission to go forward with that plan – Trump will never go against Russia’s wishes as long as that hotel deal is still in the works, and all the congressional republicans are also complicit in the deal!
If you require a “guide” to determine the major ‘players’ in the Russian takeover of the American political system, simply review the words spoken by them in defense of Trump.
ALL CONGRESSIONAL MEMBERS who spoke on behalf of the “idea” that it was Ukraine that meddled in the 2016 presidential election, not Russia, ARE aligned with Russia against the United States! It’s as simple as that That assertion is straight from the Russian G.R.U. playbook and has been refuted and debunked by American Intelligence sources.
I suppose it’s possible that they’re just idiots, imbeciles or morons, but a far more likely explanation is that they’re in the employ of Putin and Russia
