It’s hotter this morning, 13 below. (^.^) The low and current temp in Burlington is 4 below. We are going into a genuine thaw with temps as high as 44. Gotta love it.
This morning about 5:55 I came out of my room and I thought it seemed brighter outside. I peeked through a hole in the frost and I could see a lot of detail out there. Spring really is coming!
It’s the normal day for me which means I’m still kicking, kicking about this, kicking about that. (^.^)
I slept in until 7:30 this morning! And it’s a balmy 19 degrees. Maybe even get to the high 30’s today, too.
Just general house work today, sheets, vacuum, and trying to come up with something to make for dinner. We haven’t had pizza in ages. I’ll see what Jack wants.
Our family in Raleigh had snow yesterday! Their first of the season. About 2 inches.
I managed to sleep in until 7:45. I was up late reading Julie Andrews’ autobiography “Home”.
I am paring down the photo albums – taking what I think the family will want and chucking the ones that only Mom and Dad cared about (like endless pictures of flowers or the places they had traveled). I actually threw away about a dozen albums yesterday, and those were only the ones that couldn’t be used again for various reasons. I kept the reusable ones for donation to Salvation Army. The ones that are left are the really ancient ones for the most part, late 19th and early 20th century photos. My grandmother had labelled most of them pretty well.
I hope I am not boring you with this saga. It helps to not be so overwhelmed when I can share my progress with the project.
Mark, how is Andy doing? Healing well?
We’re going back to the hearing center for a recheck on the hearing aids this morning. Hopefully he can tweak them a bit.
It’s a nice day again outside. Sunny and “not cold”.
Not much going on here today. It was another sunny day with a high of 46. I went out and enjoyed it! I met a friend for lunch and we made plans to leave early in the morning for a community garage sale in a neighboring town. It should be another sunny day with a predicted high of 55. So hopefully we will have a good time.
