Snow showers tapering to rain, our weather guy calls it swain. Early temperature 1 above, high 37. (^.^)
Daytona 500 had quite an ending with a man in the hospital, in the old days the man might have been dead, The way the cars are built and the harnesses used these days make the sport a lot safer.
No mail yesterday but I still drove in to the post office yard, cussed at myself and drove out again. Today I’ll stop and get the mail. (^.^)
It’s 20 right now and supposed to get all the way up to 30. Brrr! There was an hour long squall go thru town yesterday while I was in PT. Very heavy snow, and sunny right afterwards. Nice.
PT went very well. It sure helps to go to the same gal. She’s checking all the past sore spots and will add my shoulder to the mix after she gets a handle on my hand. She feels lots of scar tissue from the two surgeries I had 4 or 5 years ago. She knows how to break all that up. Glad she’s so knowledgeable!
Just another quiet day at home for me. I did make a quick trip to the grocery this morning as it was the last day for the sale items I wanted, but no plans to leave again. It is currently 37 and partly cloudy, high today should be about 47. I am really looking forward to spring this year. The hot one day cold the next is really getting to me! And it feels like the coldest day of the week is always the day I have plans to meet friends for lunch. :-( Enough grumbling for today.
It’s after 8 PM so I’ll save most of my news for tomorrow morning. I did want to add to the discussion about passing on names. My brother Don’s middle name (Ralph) is our grandfather’s first name, so when Don’s son was born, he gave him Dad’s first name (Paul) as his middle name. When John’s first son was born, he got Donald as his middle name. Don claims that this is a family tradition handed down from our grandparents, but he started it himself. None of our older relatives have such an arrangement of names.
