If Bernie wants peace, vote for Bernie.

Republicans want war so their Deep State arms manufactures can make money and give Republicans kick backs.

Republicans hate peace, they war on everything all of the time.

The US used to have a War Department, but the name was changed to the Defense Department. Is Breen suggesting it should be called the Attack Department?

The hawk should be perched on a white cross…the kind they have at Arlington. Instead of a hawk, a vulture would be more appropriate.

Pompeo is now claiming that Israel building illegal settlements in Palestine territory is a great move towards peace; he also claims that “imminent” means “we don’t know when or where”. Trump and his minions claim that they can assassinate (YES, that IS the correct word) a foreign leader because they “believe” that he is a threat. The story keeps changing and remember, this info is allegedly coming from the same intelligence sources that they were just denigrating (IMO, the “intelligence” came from Trump’s and minions’ own imaginations). Even Mike Lee and Rand Paul have temporarily regained enough fortitude and sense to openly state that Trump is now claiming something that was not in his briefing to Congress; I do expect them to let their spines re-atrophy soon.

Bernie is principled, intelligent, loud-mouthed and abrasive, particularly if you happen to be a supporter of the 1%. And what he REALLY said was:

No, I think it was an assassination. I think it was in violation of international law. This guy was — was a bad-news guy, but he was a ranking official of the Iranian government. And you know what, once you get into violating international law in that sense, you can say there are a lot of bad people all over the world running governments.

Kim Jong-un in North Korea, not exactly a nice guy. Responsible for the death, perhaps, of hundreds of thousands of people in his own country. To name one of many, you know? The president of China now has put a million people, Muslims, into educational camps — some would call them concentration camps.

But once you start this business of a major country saying, hey, we have the right to assassinate, then you’re unleashing international anarchy. I think all…that Trump seems to be doing now is trying to break all kinds of international protocol, denying the foreign minister of Iran to speak before the United Nations, and really basically trying to lead us into another war, which I believe will be a disaster.

So, Mr. Breen, are you saying that peace negotiations are a bad thing? The Iranian government was adhering to the nuclear weapon agreement that was brought on by negotiations.

Military hits, on the other hand, are a self sustaining war. Nobody remembers who or how it started but everyone remembers that their people were killed and it goes on and on.

Give me peace, even if you think that it’s on the wrong side of your spectrum.
