Not wanting to upset the large number of cat people here, I’m keeping all suggestions to myself. ☺

When the tail starts twitching …. RUN!

I just sit down like he’s not there… by the time I hit the couch he’s not there! He’s amazingly fast with 200 lbs. coming at him.

After you sit down in your allotted space, the cat will move on to your lap. You didn’t really want to do anything with your hands other than pat the cat, did you?

Yup, that’s a cat!
