    I’m glad we don’t have to worry about wills here in Iceland. Spouses, children, parents and siblings will allways be a person’s heirs, whether they have a will or not. Even with a will, you can only decide what is done with 1/3 of your posessions. The legal heirs, as they are called, will always get 2/3 of the estate. This ensures that nobody ever leaves everything to his favorite child or his cat and leaves others without any inheritance.
