A few years ago I saw an ad for an alarm clock that jumped off the table and ran around the room so you had to catch it to turn it off. Not as wild as Molly’s clocks.
I had a friend that was sleeping through a fire alarm bell we had rigged as an alarm clock. His dad picked him up from the bed and dropped him on the floor.
When I worked for the phone company up north our pilot got married. The installers got into their apartment and hooked up a 10" underdome bell to beneath his bed connected to an un-used phone number. And called it at 3AM. Frank managed to throw it onto the hotel roof next door.

I never actually watched the series “Fresh Off the Boat”, but, in passing, I saw a cute bit. Mom wakes up son by holding his nose closed… ☺
