Go home, relax, and call back in a day or two and make an appointment for him to fix it. It is hard dealing with these things in the moment when you are upset.
The blond color is SO much prettier and has always been nice to look at.
I do relate… attended a class my beauty parlor gave on hair techniques that included standing firm if your stylist did something awful and how you have the right not to pay… but when I later was upset my first wave washed immediately out, they were argumentative about my being upset.

Don’t see the problem. She’s muchbetter looking as a brunette than a dishwater blond. Upkeep of roots could be a problem though.
