    I can usually manage a trip to California with the three hour difference by just ignoring the difference and keeping to my usual schedule. It’s not convenient for anyone else though. Further than that, I think the only hope would be to pretend it was a completely different day and then hope to somehow pick up that day during the coming year. Time change is tough.

    My son travels for work a lot. I often wonder how he manages the constant time changes. Then he comes home to two teenage children, one of which doesn’t drive yet. Fortunately he and his estranged wife co-parent well, and somehow they work it out. Glad I don’t have to do that anymore. Wouldn’t mind a trip somewhere once in awhile but only if I could stay long enough to re-coup from the time change.

    We only travel by car or more recently a tiny class B RV – aka a converted Chevy Express van.
