Luckily for me, in my eighty-ish years of life, I have never found occasion to use the word. And have never heard anyone else use it, either. Dictionary sez /ǰǝr-/. Fine with me, as I will in all probability live the next eighty years without using the word and, if I do have to use it, I will probably opt for the mumbling.
