Sigh. Well, we’ve been supported throughout our history by the good will of others, often including money or arms. I’m afraid, though, that after this, we’ll get a lot less support from folks who have now seen a clear example of how badly we sometimes let ourselves be led.

Hong Kong has many, many very tall and beautiful buildings that make the tiny tower look insignificant – no help here.

My reaction to this cartoon is OUCH…the truth hurts.

Hong Kong is further along the descent towards authoritarianism. I doubt we’ll ever this imposed on the U.S. from outside but it’s a noose we seem to be sliding our own necks into.

American “democracy” has been exposed to the world that it ain’t as noble as we were led to believe.

Remember, in 2020, you can vote FOR Loyal, Law-Abiding Candidates who WILL SUPPORT AMERICA and WILL SUPPORT The U.S. CONSTITUTION, and who WILL WORK FOR Americans… or you can vote for the Republicans.

THAT is the choice you will be facing next November.

The people of Hong Kong voted for democracy, I hope the people of the USA do the same and throw the lying cheating Republican thieves out.

That needs to show the Democratic ass standing with the elephant. The real battle isn’t Republican vs Democrat, it’s people vs the rich, socialism vs neoliberalism. Trump and his followers are the head of the spear, but neoliberal Democrats (which excludes people like AOC) are the shaft.
