I bought an old half gallon milk bottle at an antique shop some time back and often pour my milk out of the paper carton into the bottle and stick it in the fridge with a lid on top… When I was a kid we used to have a Carnation milk mandeliver milk to our house every few days. He would actually come right in and put it in the refrigerator back then… In the winter timehe would even deliver some small strings of Christmas lights that we ordered… I truly miss those days gone by a whole lot !

My first job was at a grocery store. You don’t realize how much liquid is in a gallon of milk until someone breaks one of those gallon bottles.
