Except that Chik-Fil-A apparently didn’t do this. It changed its donation program entirely, concentrating on large, specific donations to a much smaller number of charities (plus local food banks) rather than smaller donations to a broad range of charities.
The supposed decision to cut off donations to organizations seen as anti-LGBTQ was invented by a reporter, even though only 2 of the 80-+ organizations having their donations cut off fit that description.
Both left and right taking cheap shots and ignoring facts here.
The Salvation Army is opposed to same sex marriage to this day. I’m sure Chik fil A can find some charities that have updated their policies since 1970.
I’m almost positive that Ramirez is denouncing the management for caving in to demands that they actually follow the non-descrimination laws as interpreted by any court not being run by a Trump-appointee.
