Thank you all for your prayers for Jana. Last night at Bible study I learn that she had passed away on Sunday. She was a Christian. I ask now that you lift up her mother, Lona, and her sons, Brandon and Brody, in prayer. Thank you.
The day sounds like it might be good. Mix of sun and clouds, high of 31. At least it’s just chilly and not cold.
Not going to be much happening today, I am going to Orleans for coffee then back home by way of the quick stop.
For informational purposes, Orleans is a fifteen minute drive by way of Irasburg (named for Ira Allen, one of the Allen brothers) In Orleans is the Orleans Div. of Ethan Allen Furniture Co. You may have heard of it, and once upon a time I worked there.
It was 47 yesterday!!!! Hooray!!! And supposed to be just like that again today. Snow is melting off the porch and deck, but there’s so much in the yard and back 40 that I’m thinking it’ll be around until Spring.
We started taking out some of our Christmas decorations. First up will be our 55 year old Nativity set. It’s always such fun to see the various collections we still have.
Well our clouds disapated yesterday afternoon and with the sun’s help it got up to 47. It was 30 when I woke up this morning and is currently 46 and it should get up to 54. It’s a heat wave!
Chris and I had a wonderful visit the past two days. That’s him in my Avatar. We spent most of the afternoon and evening yesterday just talking and looking at a photo album he brought. We did drive to Mike’s job so the two of them could meet. They got along like gangbusters. They were both so jazzed about having a brother now, since neither of them ever has before (Chris has 2 sisters.) I have a photo of the two of them together. Such a miracle and a blessing.
Today we spent looking at photos that I have in storage. We went over there about 10 and when we looked up, it was 1 PM! And we didn’t cover even a third of the one bin. We plan on doing more when he comes back for Christmas. In the meantime I will try to edit the pile so he won’t be subjected to all the cat pictures.
Tomorrow is a quiet day which I need after the excitement of the last two days.
Chris, I have let my pastor know about Jana and her family. We will all pray for them.
