Maybe in the future when there are very few trees left some one will invent an artificial photosynthesis machine to clear all the carbon. But then we will probably have an overabundance of oxygen.
I noticed this week that a few GOP politicians are starting to waffle on whether it’s real. Kind of astounding, really, since they have really perfected the art of ignoring reality.
In the USA, the writing is obscured by sunk costs/$30T ROI anticipated from exploitation of existing yet-to-be-exploited petroleum resources. Petro industries/investors control the Congress/national policy, and are only just beginning to see control of media messaging beginning to be supplanted by actual reporting on climate change by major US media.
