If trump remains in office and continues to pull the US away, or out of the NATO alliance, the first victims will probably be the three Baltic states of Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania. Putin wants them back in the Russian Empire. With NATO in doubt, in disarray, he might just send in his tanks in a lightning invasion (Like Saddam did with Kuwait) and reincorporate them while other European states stand by, unable to confront the Russian colossus alone.
Softening up America by dividing it internally (with no sense of common goal or support for European allies) is a dirty job, but Putin’s pal is willing to do it, it seems.
