Deservedly so.
The vegetarians I know don’t eat tofurkey; they tell me it is awful.
Lola seems to be hugging that turkey awfully tight on that trek towards the kitchen, they might have hard time prying it from her chilly hands!
No one in my immediate family likes turkey. Or yams or green bean casserole. So we decided to use foods more indigenous to our area. So, when ya’ll get up before dawn to put on your turkey, I will be asleep. We are grilling steak and fish. Yum!!!
This reminds me of a scene in Going My Way that involved two boys “giving the bird” (a turkey) to a priest.

I understand that there is now an all-meat product that tastes just like tofu.
I can’t help but feel that tofu is Japan’s way of getting even for the war…
