If you examine most successes you’ll find that while the first 4 help keep them successful the fifth, luck played a far bigger role in getting there than the successful person will ever under any conditions be willing to admit.
Although winning the lottery would be cool if it is indeed big enough to be worthwhile, I certainly wouldn’t count on it in any way shape or form.
And of course I certainly wouldn’t call that being successful. That is just plain luck for one thing and stupidity for buying the stupid tickets in the first place.

I won money in the lottery. Well, it was a scratch off. I can’t decide whether to put that 5 bucks in my gas tank, or buy..almost one lunch with it.

If money is the way to success, then you have to marry rich or bang for money. But above all, don’t waste your money on the lottery.
