I’m pretty sure that Lester is smart enough to know that this ’toon is not just a lie, but a damned lie. I have met a few people who actively hate folks of the “other” party enough to wish harm upon them. And every…single…one of them is a right wing nut job. There are  some Antifa folk, who I have not met, that seem to meet the “damage” criterion and do lean left. But the proportion, judging only by the news, is pretty clearly at last 75% right wing.
