so there’s another War that can join the list of pyrrhic campaigns that we continually get involved in to our own detriment… We are not helping America’s image by fighting Wars that cannot be won. As usual the government does not listen to the generals… The government proclaims Victory and pulls the troops back from that theater leaving our allies and civilians at the mercy of another land grabbing dictator. The military soldiers are not the only ones who feel betrayed by our government, our allies are not the only ones who feel betrayed by our government, once again we the people feel betrayed because we gave up our family members to a politically motivated never ending War… Those who wanted see us at the bottom of the list of countries that can no longer influence the world are rubbing their hands in Glee and probably celebrating if not in Street parades then behind closed doors… All we have managed to do is develop another enemy to despise us for our broken promises. Most of all, it is so disappointing that the people that have been voted into positions of trust are profiting from our fall from honor.

I saw a post by Fox “news” that was praising Trump for the ceasefire in Turkey. The commenters were almost entirely in agreement with this. If anyone pointed out that ISIS prisoners are now free because of Trumps actions, they got shouted down. The cognitive dissonance was amazing.
