If PG & E just did proper maintenance on the rights of way, wouldn’t be a problem, but it is Pacific Gas and Excrement.

What did they have, like a week to get a claim in?

They said “burying the transmission lines is to expensive”. Millions…they said.

This.. will prove to be an interesting experiment.. and a sign of what will be should America be engaged in an “electronic” war.

If the maintenance program would have kept up, this wouldn’t be happening! The grid system in America needs dire attention! But never have funds to maintain….HMMMM but there’s always millions 4 weekend golf trips and security details for the whole family….=~\

Paying stockholders and bonus payments for management instead of cutting down trees was their first mistake.

PG&E has been cutting a fat hog (rather than their rights-of-way) for decades and getting away with it. Now they’ve been found out, and this power cutoff Kabuki performance is to prove how important they are and that no one should tell them what to do. If they want to keep their business and restore it to profitability, they need to CLEAR THEIR RIGHTS-OF-WAY pronto. If they’d been doing it all along instead of overpaying executives (or wherever that money was spent), it would not be a problem right now and the people who died in fires they caused would still be alive.

We all need to give thanks to Michael Peavey and Jerry Brown.

Where is Erin Brockovich now, when we need her?

She’s the only one that makes PG&E executives P in their knickers.

I remember, you could pay your bill with Pigs, Greed, and Extortion as the payee and it would be cashed . . .
