J. C. Duffy: I’m in love with your artwork! But the man on the bench, saying “Little Gur(d)jieff, happy at last,” is a mystery. I know who Gurdjieff is, and I know about “Little Gertjie,” but I don’t understand the reference. And what is he holding in his hand? Thanks in advance . . .

Interesting, I must visit the park more often but usually there are too many smokers fouling the air.
So there’s a possible suicide unless they’re just doing pull-ups,
a murder,
Duffy and his pet pig playing frisbee,
a frisky couple behind the bench,
possibly a drunk with stinky feet,
guitar man (who has a good view of the frisky couple),
boy with balloon,
a couple who can’t quite remember each other,
a blind man and his dog,
a reading picnicker,
maybe a council worker or is he prospecting?
and the drummer. But where is Waldo?

Not accurate for my park, no gangs shooting each other for drug turf. Guess that’s how it got pass the censors.

Makes one think Kliban visited the Park Blocks in Portland, OR on a summer’s day.

Maybe Duffy absorbed Kliban spirit?
